Chris Fenney

 

Chris Fenney has more than 30 years experience in training and management development, gained in demanding yet sophiscated commercial organizations both in Europe and the U.S.A., where a high premium has always been placed on optimizing human resources and improving performance.

His corporate experience has been gained at every level, including Director and Vice President appointments, across a range of sectors including manufacturing, service, retail and leisure.

He has extensive knowledge and experience of working with multi-cultural groups having been based in Singapore for over 6 years and delivered training programmes throughout South East Asia in many different countries including Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and the Philippines.

With his many years experience as a HR Director, Chris specializes in all aspects of the development of human resources to support and meet business objectives. Chris has delivered training and management development programmes to a wide range of clients in both the private and public sector with consistently successful feedback and results. Some of his clients include Samsung, Panasonic, Gemplus, Pacific Internet, Translink, BAT, Mindef, Housing & Development Board, Central Provident Fund Board, Singapore Prison, Singapore Police, Land Transport Authority etc.       
His style is dynamic, hands on and his enthusiasm is highly infectious creating a relaxed, humorous yet highly effective learning environment.Chris has a first degree in Social Science with his subsequent Masters in Management Learning and Development gained from the prestigious and internationally recognized Management and Learning Centre at LancasterUniversity in the U.K.

   
Steve Murphy

 

Steve Murphy has had more than 30 years in Senior Management experience first as a Senior Manager with the prestigious Munich Reinsurance Group, then with the world’s 4th largest reinsurance group, Hanover Re, where he was first a General Manager, then Chief Executive of its largest subsidiary for over 18 years. His credentials involve having turned the smallest of its offices with revenues of only US$10million into its largest, with revenues exceeding US$375million.

His Corporate experience extends from the entrepreneurial activity of starting a business with himself and a partner through to the corporate world and the strategic leadership functions of a group of over 250 staff involving some 30 different business. These were transacted in 25 different currencies, and nations as diffuse as Egypt, Ghana, United Kingdom, Germany, France Holland, Kenya, Mauritius, Tunisia, Morocco, Israel and South Africa.

Steve’s key strengths lie in providing inspirational leadership, motivating and developing teams; developing turn-around strategies, and creating a sense of vision and passion within organisations. His leadership style qualified him as a finalist in his home country’s 1999 “Boss of the Year” competition, and the subsidiary he led was twice nominated as a finalist in the “non-listed company of the year” award.

Steve’s special areas of interest involve leadership, strategic negotiations; turning around struggling organisations; coaching and mentoring future leaders; conflict resolution; presentation skills and facilitating strategic planning .Steve is a very high energy, charismatic individual who connects easily and quickly with his audience. He understands that good training and development must both feed the mind and touch the heart.

Steve is an accomplished speaker who brings to the training room a wealth of first hand, and real time experience and examples of negotiating challenges; conflict resolution; the crucial role of leadership and the importance of developing and motivating teams.  He has also been retained as a consultant to businesses in Southeast Asia.

Steve remains a Director and Chairman of a number of companies and continues to explore entrepreneurial opportunities for investment. He understands the need for effective communication, managing conflicts, developing team, and the importance of strategic  negotiation
   
Bill Lang

 

Bill Lang is the CEO of Bill Lang International and Group President of Training Edge International.  Bill  has worked with Fortune 1000 companies to dramatically increase business performance through customer and employee engagement. His client companies operate in over 50 countries and over 10 million people have customers and employees have used Bill Lang International solutions to receive superior customer experiences.

Bill's entrepreneurial accomplishments  include :

  • Co-founded 2 internet marketing services company, FreeOnline in Australia and Sharinga Networks in San Francisco.
  • Founded Customer Management Strategy & Systems, a consulting business managing strategic marketing and management development projects for multi-national companies

Before starting these companies Bill was a professional working with the following organisations

  • McKinsey & Company where he worked as a business analyst and was a member of their International Finance Faculty
  • National Mutual (now AXA Australasia) as a marketing strategy executive
  • Macquarie Bank as a corporate finance associate
  • KPMG as a Management Consultant
  • The University of Melbourne as a member of the Faculty of Economics and Commerce

Bill has delivered many corporate presentations and workshops around the world on the topics of strategic marketing, marketing on the internet, career and enterprise success and management for start-up companies entering the US market.

Bill holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School with highest academic honours as a Baker Scholar.  He was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to study in the United States, won the Macquarie Bank Scholarship to attend Harvard and while at Harvard became one of two Proctor and Gamble International Fellows in 1990.

   
Nisha

 

An enthusiastic and creative trainer, Nisha, is passionately committed to enhancing her training participants’ effectiveness in both their personal and professional lives by focusing on the development of personal excellence, performance enhancement, leadership and communication development. Well recognized for her highly entertaining and educational training sessions, Nisha incorporates hands on activities and experiential exercises that support accelerated learning. 
Coming from a service industry background, augmented with substantial experience in training, instructional design and adult instruction, Nisha has the ability to "connect" with people, winning their motivation to learn and to achieve success.  Having being trained in psychology and counseling skills has further enhanced her ability to understand the needs and demands of her participants and build positive relationships. Her consulting and training activities are results driven, teaching others how to motivate themselves, focus on organizational goals and marketing objectives through team work and the sharing of objectives. Her favorite role is that of "problem-solver".  She believes in the innate intelligence of human beings who, with the right guidance and training, can achieve dynamic success for their organizations and career-wise.   Nisha’s commitment to her clients doesn’t end with the final presentation; she is motivated by the desire to see them succeed, and enjoys following up with them long afterwards to answer any questions or offer additional assistance.

Nisha has more than 15 years extensive management experience in the Tourism and Hospitality industry. She holds a Masters in Business Administration, specialising in Hospitality and Tourism Management, by the Nanyang Business School, Singapore. A strong advocate of life long learning, Nisha is currently undergoing the Advanced Certification in Training and Assessment (ACTA) course conducted by WDA.
